Powerful sand storm hits Kuwait.



Sandstorms have been ravaging the whole of Kuwait ever since last few hours.

Sandstorms have caused poor visibility all over the country where objects further away than few meters can’t be seen clearly. Winds are up to 50 kilometers per hour, almost covering the state of Kuwait in sand. Chaos has been caused to the transportation system, and drivers have to travel very carefully to avoid accidents.

The weather is badly affected Kuwait international airport and no flights service operated after 6:00 pm today.

According to the local meteorological bureau, The visibility will decrease and may be nil in some areas next few hours due to dust storm with fresh north westerly wind exceeds 50 Km/H
