I hope all of you are fine.

Insha Allah I am going to perform Umrah this month with TMCA Special Umra Team. We will be leaving Kuwait on 24th June 2009 @ 7.00 PM as we have planned to travel via road in three buses of 150 pilgrims in total, on a 10 days trip – five days in holy Makkah and three days in holy Madinah.

Please pray for us to complete the Umrah rites as shown by our beloved Prophet SAW.

I shall pray for all of us Insha Allah.

TMCA conducted Medical Awareness & Counseling Camp

TMCA conducted Medical Awareness & Counseling Camp in Kuwait on 12th June, 2009 at 8 a.m. at Indian Community School (Sr.Girls School), Salmiya.

Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA) arranged a mega Medical and consultation camp to fulfill our community’s health awareness. Large number of well known Doctors from various specialities, nurses, well wishers, sponsors and around 650 participants attended and consulted Doctors with their respective health problems.

The entire program compiled and administered wonderfully by Br. Hidayathullah (Secretary, Educational Wing). The program inaugurated with holy verses recited (with translation) by Moulavi Abdul Nazeer (IGC, Fahaheel). Br. N.A.M. Abdul Aleem (General Secretary, TMCA), welcomed all the participants, Doctors, Nurses, Sponsors and well wishers. And he pointed out that our IDF Doctors put their excellent effort in serving our community people inspite of their tight schedule.
Dr. Abhay Patwari (Vice-President, IDF) delivered an introduction address on this event. His Excellency Ajay Malhotra, Ambassador of India was the Chiief Guest and he felicitated this noble cause during his special address. BBr. Mukhtar Maroof, President, FIMA felicitated during his guest address. His Excellency the Ambassador of India, gave momento to Dr. Riyaz Ahamed Khan, President, IDF accompanied by AlMass Musthafa, President, TMCA and N.A.M. Abdul Aleem, General Secretary, TMCA. His Excellency gave momen to M/s. City Clinic & Pharmacy accompanied by Br. Zahiruddin Founder members of TMCA (Guardian Council) and Br. Abdul Raheem Abbas, Educational secretary of TMCA.

Around 38 specialized doctors from IDF, 5 optometrist from Optometrist Association, City Clinic and City Pharmacy participated and rendered their services in this Medical Camp. IDF doctors gave counseling to the patients untiringly from 8.45 am till 1pm. Around 650 patients attended this medical camp and all of them were highly appreciative of the doctors who attended them with compassion and gave valuable advices on their health problems. Dr. Jagannath Mishra (General Secretary, IDF), Dr. Ameer Ahamed, Dr. Ramesh Pandita, Dr. Unni Krishnan, Dr. Rajendra Mishra (Community Welfare Secretary, IDF), Dr. Muzaffar Gani, Dr. Nampoothry, Dr. Ambalavanan to mention a few who attended the Camp welcomed TMCA’s efforts and assured their voluntary co-operation in every future endeavour.

Finally Br. Abdul Raheem Abbas (Secretary, Education Wing) thanked all participants for their kind presence one and all those who took effort for this successful Camp. TMCA presented a special memento to IDF and City Clinic for their excellent contributions for the success of this health camp. Br. Abdul Raheem Abbas, Educational secretary of TMCA delivered vote of thanks.

The organizers made all the necessary arrangements with 100 volunteers (with special accreditation) including 20 female nurses who worked hard to make this event a successful one. City Clinic and Pharmacy sponsored this program and M/s. Al-Yasra Food Co. contributed with their usual support by providing water and juices for all the participants. Al-Ameen Umra Services also extended their voluntary contribution for the successful conduct of this Camp. At the end, special Appreciation certificates were delivered to all the volunteers and nurses for their dedicated services. Our special thanks goes to Br. AlMass Musthafa, President, TMCA sponsored Dinner (previous night), Breakfast and special Lunch on the day of the Camp by supplying most favourite dishes.
