TMCA Officials met Charge de’Affairs of Indian Embassy.


Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA) Office-bearers had an introductory official meeting with Mr. Vidhu P. Nair, Charge de’Affairs, Embassy of India, Kuwait, at his esteemed Office on 22nd June, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. to felicitate and convey on behalf of TMCA, our best wishes in his new mission in Kuwait.

Founders, former Officials and current EC team of TMCA - ‘Kambali’ Br. Mohamed Basheer, Br. I. Zahiruddin, Br. M. Sowkath Ali, Br. Karaikal S.M. Arif Maricar, Br. A. Abdul Jaleel Br.A.Hidayathullah, Br. A.Abdul Rahim, and Br.H. Jahir Hussain respectively were present at the meeting.

TMCA Officials discussed various topics in the interest of our community welfare and briefed milestone achievements during the past and till to-date, most importantly, ongoing Amnesty related services, right from its announcement, translating it into Tamil language which has been duly published (pdf format) in Embassy website, adding that around 4000 copies of which, so far been distributed among the general public and later, another distribution of Tamil translated copies as to the Embassy announcement of providing air ticket to the needy and impoverished Indian citizens, which impressed him highly. Result of which, with all of our collective efforts and TMCA too from its part, as stated to him, are very glad to note from the information that have been observed at IIK website that around 10500 of us have left so far and about 10000 are expected to take advantage during the last ten days.

TMCA Officials presented him few copies of our Annual programs Souvenir, copies of DVD presentation and a brief report of our activities which he gladly noted and assured him of our best possible supportive services in the future years too for the well-being of our community. He too regarded role of all Indian Associations in Kuwait actively serving our people and looking forward to continue with greater efforts in the years to come.


TMCA has extended its invitation to the young, energetic and dynamic Charge de’Affairs Mr. Vidhu P. Nair to take part and be the Chief Guest of our Grand Iftar banquet, planning to conduct hopefully on Friday, the 19th August, 2011 which he happily accepted.
