Tamilnadu Muslims Cultural Association (TMCA) conducted a most prestigious ceremony of large and magnificent program for its 15th year Anniversary on Friday, the 24th December, 2010 at Social Reform Society Auditorium (Jamiat Al-Islah – Mesrah Omar Bin Al-Khattab) Al-Rawdha area between 5 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. with spectators of about 1400 individuals (including ladies & kids)
The Following Chief Guests from India adorned this spectacular event including higher diplomat, various dignitaries, chieftains of many organizations and sects locally had adorned this marvellous occasion.
Mr. M. Abdul Rahman M.A, M.P., - Member of Parliament – Vellore constituency, India, Mr. A.M.H Nazeem B.A. MLA., Leader of Opposition – Puducherry State Legislative Assembly, Prof. Dr. Abdulla (Formerly known as Periyardhasan) M.A, Ph.D - Leading Psychologist and Ex. Faculty of California University, USA, Eng. H.Q. Najmudeen - Founder – MEPCO., General Secretary UNWO –Ramnad Dt., and Advocate Ramalingam – Joyakondam.
And many other prominent orator from all walks of life including Mr. Siddique Valiyakath, President- FIMA, Businessman Mr.S.K. Shamsudeen Hazrath participated in this successful event. The Special Guest was Mr. K. Narsing Rao - Counsellor - The Embassy of India - Kuwait delivered the felicitation address. In his speech, he pointed out that TMCA is one of most active Association with large number of members in Kuwait.
The entire ceremony has been mastered by General Secretary Br. Avoor A. Basheer Ahamed. The event took off with few verses recited from Holy Qur'an, the meaning in Tamil by Br. Muneer Ahmed. Then, a Hadith by Br. Hiyadullah (TMCA Vice President) Brother Vittukatti Masthan read a poem specially written for TMCA and its activities for the past 15 years.
On the outset, It was followed by the welcome address by TMCA President Brother Abdul Aleem and during the felicitation by Siddiq Veliyakat, President of Federation of Indian Muslim Associations (FIMA), Kuwait. He mentioned that feeling around here looks like Eid (Festival) today.
TMCA honored the main sponsor and patron ‘Lucky Press’ Brother Sulaiman Batcha, Co-sponsors M/s. TVS Cargo & Travels, M/s. Al-Yasra Foodstuff Co., M/s. SKS Group, M/s. Abroad Indians, M/s. Gulfmart, M/s. Sirlankan Airlines, M/S. Almarai by awarding the mementos. Then, the event started right in earnest, in the presence of a jam-packed Auditorium with full of interest and enthusiasm which prevailed through-out.
TMCA Advisor & Main Sponsor of the event Br. Lucky Sulaiman released the 1st copy of Special Souvenir of 15the year Anniversary to His Excellency Mr. K. Narsing Rao and subsequently to all others in the stage.
The conference came to a fruitful conclusion with Brother Br. Hidyathulla TMCA Vice President proposing vote of thanks followed by a round of applause by the audience, whose co-operation through-out was, indeed, heart-warming. Our Co Sponsor Alhaj S.K. Shamsudeen Hazrath spoke few words on the request by M. Abdul Rahman MP. and Eng. H.Q. Najmuddeen illustrated many incidents and conditions of our society in seeking the education.
