Head of the Security Media Department and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior Brig. Mohammed Hashem Al-Sabr has announced that the webpage of the department on the ministry's website has already been launched.
Issued on a press release to Al Watan, Al-Sabr said that the launch was in response to the instructions of the Interior Minister Sheikh Jaber Khaled Al-Sabah to activate communication between the ministry and the citizens and expatriates.
Al-Sabr said that the new link http://www.moi.gov.kw/smd included several hyperlinks on the role of the department, its divisions and missions, in addition to the TV programs such as Umatana Fi Ramadan (Our nation in Ramadan), Security of Kuwait and Security messages and the radio programs such as Return safe.
Al-Sabr said that the new link includes tools to spread awareness about issues through brochures, flyers, booklets and posters. He said that the hyperlinks enable media to follow up on the news of the ministry and download the photos. He added that the new link was the fruit of cooperation between IT and Communication Department led by Interior Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary Sheikh Mishael Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Security Media Department upon the instructions of the ministry's Undersecretary Lt. Gen. Ahmad Abdullatif Al-Rujaib.
