Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA) arranged a special blood donation camp in order to honor the National Day and Liberation Day of Kuwait on Friday, 26th February 2010, 9:00 a.m at Central Blood Bank in Jabriya,
Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA) and its valued members as well as the members of other associations had participated enthusiastically in the national celebrations of Kuwait and donated their bloods to express their humanitarian spirits on this auspicious occasion. The donors started to donate their blood since 8:00 a.m. The official program commenced at 9:00 a.m Mr. M. Muneer Ahmed (Dy.General Secretary) initiated the program and staged the maestro in administering the whole ceremony. At the outset, the Holy verses recited by Mr. Hidayathullah, (Secretary – Education Wing) and delivered the English Translation, Mr. N.A.M Abdul Aleem, General Secretary – TMCA welcomed all the special guests, blood donors, members and others.
H.E. Ajai Malhotra, The Ambassador of India was the Chief Guest for this grand occasion and delivered the Special Address to inaugurate the function. The Special Invitee of Kuwait Tamil Islamic Committee (K-tic) Hon' M. Abdurrahman, Member of Parliament, Republic of India and Mr. Mukhtar Maroof (Ex. President and Patron - FIMA) felicitated during their formal addresses. Dr. Rana Abdurrazak, Director of Central Blood Bank authority delivered the introductory speech and honored H.E. the Ambassador of India, Shri Ajai Malhotra, Honorable Member of Parliament M. Abdrurahman and TMCA by presenting mementos from Central Blood Bank Administration. Mr. S.M. Hyder Ali expressed his congratulation during his brief address. Mr. M.I. Sowkath Ali (Vice President TMCA) delivered the Vote of Thanks. Kuwait Television did the direct telecasting the formal ceremony, KTV1, KTV2 and other many local media focused this fantabulous function. H.E. Ambassador of India, Director of CBB and Hon' M. Abdurrahman M.P presented individually the special interviews for the V-media broadcasting of TV programs. Two Special appreciation Certificates been awarded to all donors respectively from Central Blood Bank and TMCA.
Around 170 members donated their bloods with more interest including the TMCA office bearers. Number of prominent personalities had adorned this great occasion including the guest from India Mr. Millath Ismail (Secretary IUML Publication Trust) and Mufti Moulavi Mohamed Omar. The special meal pack of Juices, Waters, Cakes and Fruits were delivered to all the donors. TMCA expressing a sincere gratitude for all the donors, and guests also for the Al-Yasra Food Company for their special contributions in this camp.
