On Saturday 15th August 2009 Independence Day of India was celebrated in the premises of Indian Embassy, Kuwait . Large number of Indians participated in the celebration. H. E. Ambassador of India Mr. Ajai Malhotra Hoisted the Indian flag exactly at 7 am on that day and read out the message from Honorable President of India Prathiba Patil. Children from various Indian schools sung patriotic songs and gave excellent music performance with drum beat. Office Members of Tamil Nadu Muslim Cultural Association, (TMCA) N.A.M. Abdul Aleem General Secretary, M. Muneer Ahamed deputy General Secretary, S.M. Arif Maricar Treasurer CC members M.Hidayathulla, H. Jahir Hussain, A. Hassan Mohamed, Abdul Raheem, Ruknudeen, TVS Alavudeen and large number of TMCA members greeted the Ambassador and other embassy official.
